I never thought I’d go from being a paramedic to working in advertising as a copywriter. But first, let me tell you a bit of my story.

I’m from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, a border city right next to the U.S. Growing up between two cultures shaped who I am: Mexican and American. Maybe that’s why I enjoy watching American sports, college games, and listening to cumbia… Oh, and of course, coffee (because without caffeine, there are no ideas).

I’ve always had this thing for finding calm in the middle of chaos, for noticing the simple moments in all the noise. At 15, I realized how much I cared about helping people, so I trained as a paramedic with the Mexican Red Cross. That need to connect with people on a human level never left me.

Now, I try to do the same thing, just through ideas.
Ideas that make people feel something, think something, maybe even change something.
